Burke Mountain is an incredible family-oriented, mountainside community, situated in Northeast Coquitlam, British Columbia. The area consists of an extensive trail network, beautiful parks,  schools and is home to more than 15,000 residents.

Burke Mountain is without a doubt one of the Lower Mainland’s most desirable and fastest growing neighbourhoods, with beautiful homes, plenty of lush green space and an amazing community feel. Burke Mountain and the Northeast Coquitlam area hold the highest average and median household incomes across all of Coquitlam.

Burke Mountain Village a much needed space

For a long time, Burke Mountain and Northeast Coquitlam have lacked a community centre. Since Burke Mountain started expanding, residents were vocal about the need for a space the community could gather and enjoy.

The new community centre on Burke Mountain  will meet the needs of current and future residents of this growing Northeast Coquitlam community – as well as residents across the community. Amenities will include pools, gymnasium and a fitness centre. View the site plan.

Targeted to open in 2027 in the future Burke Mountain Village, the proposed 7,430-square-metre (80,000-square-foot) Northeast Community Centre (NECC) will include a range of services including aquatics, gymnasiums, fitness, library and community space sized to meet the anticipated demand for recreation.
