The Vision

The future Burke Mountain Village, formerly called the Partington Creek Neighbourhood Centre (PCNC), will be the commercial and social hub of Burke Mountain in Northeast Coquitlam. This 15.8-hectare (39-acre) site is located east of Burke Mountain Creek and south of David AvenueThe Northwest Burke Vision (NBV) is a 30-year plan that will guide the planning and development of the last large undeveloped area in Coquitlam.

Burke Mountain Village is located in the Northern most part of Coquitlam. A neighbourhood set in nature, while enjoying the urban living at Burke Mountain Village. Featuring outdoor play areas with a variety of trails and endless amount of parks. In the  heart of it an exciting urban village offering shopping and recreation experiences.

Social & Commercial Spaces

As part of the master plan, land adjacent to Burke Mountain Village will include medium density apartments, townhomes and parks.  The village park is located next to the Community Centre for more options for family recreation.  Enjoy a stroll along the Princeton Retail High Street. A pedestrian focused street with shops and grocery stores.

The Community Centre, parks and public plaza will be accessible via the Village Greenway and trail network to enrich your movement throughout the village. The City of Coquitlam is dedicated to its long-term vision for Burke Mountain and is actively developing its roadways, parks and services as part of the overall Master Plan.

A most needed addition is the North East Community Centre, which will offer a variety of recreation and cultural actives.
