Burquitlam real estate has seen an uptick in activity recently, which means that you might be able to find a good deal on a condo for sale.

There Are Many Options For Buying A Home In Burquitlam.?

If you’re looking to buy a home in the area, you’ll need to consider a few things before making a purchase. First, you should determine how much money you can spend on a property. Second, you’ll need to decide whether you’d prefer to live in a condo or a house. Third, you’ll need to make sure that you can afford the monthly payments associated with buying a home. Finally, you’ll need to figure out what type of neighbourhood you’d like to live in.

Burquitlam Condos

Condos range from 1 bedroom to 3 bedroom homes in a variety of different types of buildings. High rises such as 567 Clarke + Como lake offer 49 storeys, with 3 levels of amenity space. Newer developments such as Alina offer 1, 2 & 3 bedroom homes. Alina is unique as it’s Penthouse suites are all 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms.

Closer to Burquitlam village are lower rise condos that surround Myriad ( The Heart of Burquitlam ) and the new Burquitlam YMCA. Sol by Adera located on the corner of Robinson and Como lake will be 6 storeys and offer 201 homes.  Down the road, Kira by Woodbridge Homes & Band by Townline Homes offers similar low rise living close to the Burquitlam Safeway & Burquitlam Station.

Burquitlam Townhomes

Don’t be fooled by all the high rises in the area. Further away from the skytrain station,  towhomes are starting to pop up. These townhomes offer a transition between detached homes and condominiums.

The success of Black & White on Foster offer a variety of floor plans great for families and close to the Burquitlam YMCA and across the street from Cottonwood Park. New to the neighbourhood are Skagen Townhomes along Foster Ave. These Scandinavian inspired townhomes offer  3 & 4 bedroom options.

All of these townhomes are located within walking distance to Roy Stibbs Elementary, Mountain View Elementary and Banting Middle School. Burquitlam is a family friendly neighbourhood with more housing options to come and a fantastic 25 year master plan. An increase in the Cottonwood park area will add much needed green space to Coquitlam.
