About Coquitlam East
Comprised of detached and attached homes. Boardering parts of Lougheed Highway, Mundy Park and Colony Farms, this area is popular with families. Surrounded by parks and forested areas, there are numerous trails and things to with the family.
Close to Coquitlam Centre which is a transportation hub for the community. You can hop on the West Coast Express to get downtown, or the Evergreen Line to get you anywhere in the city. Town Centre Park is located a short distance from Coquitlam East. Here you will find a track field and numerous soccer fields, walking trails and Lafarge Lake which is popular for people of all ages. Don't forget to check out Lights at Lafarge Lake which comes around during Christmas time.

A variety busses run through the main roads and side streets. The busiest areas for bus transit are Como Lake Ave, Mariner Way, Chilko Drive, Austin Avenue, and Mundy Road nearby. You can take a bus to the nearest skytrain station would be down the hill at Coquitlam Centre ( Coquitlam Central Station) or Braid Station on the other side of the hill.
Things to Do
Find everythign you need at Austin Station, 2662 Austin Avenue, CoquitlamShop at Save-On-Foods, grab a starbucks or fill up at Esso gast station. This area is located 5-10 minutes away from Coquitlam Centre Mall. If you need larger stores, you have them within walking/driving distance.
Enjoy quiet walks at Mundy Park is a great place to enjoy the walking trails, dog park, playground, and sports fields. Colony Farms is just down the hill, with a multitude of walking trails through meadows and marshes with beautiful view of the mountains.
